Kyson, the SOCCER STAR!!!
Kyson just finished his soccer season last week. He absolutely loves playing soccer!!! His coach, Coach Geneva, did an excellent job with his team this fall! Kyson is a little natural and scored lots of goals! He is so fun to watch! He really helps his teammates to be better players. I am so proud of him.

I thought it would be fun to get some pictures of my kids with their Halloween shirts on, since they were not able to where them to school on Halloween. I absolutely love my children! We had so much fun taking the pictures!
Yes, I know that it is now after Thanksgiving... but I am just now getting my Halloween pictures posted! Halloween was a bit crazy this year. We flew in from Hawaii on Halloween night (with an hour delay), quickly changed into costumes, and hit the street to Trick or Treat. It was lots of fun though! Tylee did not even look like the same little girl with the black hair! But she had to "fit the part" of Snow White! Kyson was Optimus Prime (a transformer), and Taya was the cutest little butterfly (thanks to Heidi for the costume).
Tylee's preschool took a trip to the pumpkin patch this year. As you can see, she is really contemplating which pumpkin to choose! They all picked green ones because her teacher had them make the cutest witches out of them. Unfortunately, she is the only one of the family that was able to go to a pumpkin patch. This year was a bit hectic, so that tradition got missed :(
I thought it would be fun for everyone to get to watch a clip of the hula dancers! Kyson, Ali, and Tylee got up on stage at the luau and had a blast!
We just had the most amazing time in Maui!!! Talk about spontaneous!!! We made the plans Monday night and flew out Friday! A special thanks to our great friends Dave and Nancy! They made this trip absolutely priceless! Their family came with us and we had an amazing time! Our kids have a blast together and these pictures are just the beginning! We did miss our little Taya, but she was much happier playing with Justin and Angie's family, and then her Grandma Denise. Another special thanks to them for keeping her!
Of course I am bias! But these are the three cutest kids to me! I honestly am so grateful for my children! They really are lots of fun! Kyson is such a great big brother! And Tylee loves to be "mini mom" to Taya. I think my favorite thing is how Taya just lights up when Kyson and/or Tylee enter the room! She looks for them every time I get her out of bed! And she gives a look of disappointment if they are not here when we come downstairs. They truly bring so much joy into Dave and I's lives!
Tylee's new favorite thing is Dave's soda! She is constantly stealing his soda and drinking it. Sometimes it will have caffeine in it, so I have been trying to teach her to ask daddy first, so she will not drink the caffeine herself. One night while Tylee was saying our family prayer, she said, "Please bless me that I will be able to sleep tonight, after I sneaked some of daddy's caffeine".
Tylee started dance this year. She is such a cute ballerina. She loves to carry her dance bag all around the house and absolutely loves her ballet shoes. She doesn't understand why she can't wear them every single day. She loves being in dance! Her favorite part is the fact that her friend, Ali, is in her class with her. The two of them are so much fun to watch!
Kyson started Kindergarten this year. He absolutely LOVES school, and is doing great at it! In fact, after about a week of school, he came home and said, "Mommy, when am I going to start learning something new?" "I am just doing everything I already know." He actually has a fabulous teacher, and is now enjoying every minute of school! It is so fun to see him grow up! I get to work in his classroom off and on, and love seeing him interact with the other kids!
This summer we took our kids to Cinderella at the Tuachan Theatre in St. George, UT. Thanks to Yessi, Tylee was our own little "Cinderella" for the evening! Tylee is definitely a little princess, and she loved every single minute of it!!!
Kyson actually enjoyed it himself! He loved feeling like Tylee's prince for the night!
